Job Description

Flexential is seeking an experienced Account Executive to join our team. As a Data Center Specialist, Sales, you will be responsible for presenting and selling our colocation products and services to prospective customers in select data centers. The role involves prospecting, qualifying opportunities, designing solutions, pricing, negotiating, closing deals, and providing valuable market insights.

Key Responsibilities and Essential Job Functions

  • Promote and sell colocation products and services to potential clients.
  • Generate leads and develop new sales within a targeted region.
  • Maintain sales activity to keep the pipeline filled.
  • Achieve monthly sales quotas.
  • Coordinate with Subject Matter Experts during the sales process.
  • Utilize Salesforce.com to manage and document opportunities.
  • Manage the contracting process for Master Service Agreements.
  • Conduct meetings with prospects and cultivate relationships with networking partners.

Required Qualifications

  • Experience in managing the sales process with C-suite and departmental staff.
  • Success in team selling environments.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce.com and other relevant software.
  • Self-motivated and adaptable to market changes.
  • Working knowledge of Salesforce, Microsoft Excel, Word, and contact management software.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 4 years of successful sales experience, preferably in the technology sector.
