Job Description
We are looking for a Part-Time 1st Shift Warehouse Worker to join the Aldi team. Our warehouse workers play a crucial role in ensuring that products are efficiently handled and delivered to our stores for our customers to enjoy. This position offers a starting wage of $23.75 per hour for fewer than 30 hours of work per week. As a warehouse worker, you will be responsible for various tasks, including stock selection, merchandise relocation, loading and unloading, warehouse cleaning, and inventory management. You will collaborate with peers, suppliers, and warehouse leadership to maintain excellent warehouse standards and processes.
Responsibilities
- Select and receive incoming stock efficiently for order fulfillment.
- Relocate merchandise in line with product handling guidelines.
- Sort, load, and unload merchandise strategically for shipment.
- Maintain warehouse cleanliness and safety standards.
- Participate in inventory counts and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
- Collaborate with warehouse management to enhance processes.
- Inspect products for quality, safety, and sanitation compliance.
- Operate equipment safely and according to guidelines.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Ability to lift and handle products weighing up to 45 pounds.
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
- Capacity to work independently and in a team environment.
