Job Description
We are seeking a Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a vital role in maintaining the store's appearance, assisting customers, and working collaboratively with the ALDI team. This position offers an average of 32-40 hours per week at a starting wage of $18.00 per hour.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate the ALDI Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays
- Provide exceptional customer service and assist shoppers
- Communicate effectively with team members and management
- Participate in inventory counts and monitor inventory accuracy
- Follow cash policies and procedures
- Adhere to company policies, uphold security, and maintain confidentiality
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older
- Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service
- Efficiently operate a cash register
- Safely handle equipment and perform general cleaning tasks
- Excellent communication skills
- Work well in a team and independently
- Stay organized, detail-oriented, and follow instructions efficiently
- Meet requirements for handling and selling alcoholic beverages
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior retail experience preferred
- A combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge
