As an Accounts Payable Lead, you will play a critical part in managing financial transactions, leading a team, and ensuring accurate financial reporting. Responsibilities
- Take ownership of accounts payable activities and ensure timely payments to vendors.
- Lead and supervise team members, conduct performance evaluations, and provide guidance on accounting matters.
- Initiate payment transactions, review accounts payable processes, and offer support to the team as needed.
- Prepare tax forms, review employee expense reports, and administer the corporate travel card program.
- Participate in process improvement initiatives and perform other related duties as required.
Requirements
- Degree in a relevant field preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounts payable.
- Proven experience in leading accounts payable staff and adapting to changing priorities.
- Strong attention to detail, critical thinking, and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Familiarity with financial software systems is a plus.
