Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Actuarial Analyst Senior to join our team at USAA. As a Senior Actuarial Analyst, you will play a crucial role in performing actuarial analyses to develop new products, project future results, and ensure financial strength. Responsibilities
- Apply proficient knowledge of the business, its products, and processes.
- Utilize actuarial modeling software for pricing, valuation, and risk management.
- Identify critical areas to monitor and suggest remedies to correct trends.
- Test pricing assumptions and appropriate financial values for new products.
- Communicate insights and solutions effectively to actuarial and non-actuarial stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or 4 additional years of relevant experience.
- Strong knowledge of Excel and at least one programming language or modeling software.
- Experience with various actuarial pricing methodologies and industry software.
- Excellent communication and visualization skills.
- US military experience is a plus.
