Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Appliance Service Technician to join our team at CSC Serviceworks. As a Field Service Appliance Technician, you will be responsible for providing mechanical repairs to washers, dryers, and air-vending machines at customer locations. This role requires a strong mechanical aptitude, independence, and a commitment to ensuring our machines run smoothly to exceed customer expectations.
Key Responsibilities
- Service and Repair: Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair appliances following manufacturer guidelines and safety standards.
- Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and preventative services to optimize appliance performance.
- Customer Service: Interact with customers professionally, addressing concerns and providing repair information and recommendations.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed service records and update the internal database accurately.
- Parts and Inventory Management: Monitor and manage spare parts inventory and order necessary resources for efficient repairs.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols while working with electrical systems and appliances.
Requirements
- Valid Driver's License.
- Previous experience in appliance repair preferred.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
- Physical stamina and ability to handle heavy appliances.
- Basic computer skills for documentation and communication.
