Job Description
Zurich North America is seeking an Application Delivery Lead to join our Enterprise Underwriting Solutions team based at our Schaumburg, IL HQ. As the Application Delivery Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing large-scale IT underwriting implementations, creating and executing delivery plans, and ensuring alignment between technology and business processes.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the delivery of large-scale IT underwriting implementations.
- Develop and execute delivery plans, including scope, timeline, milestones, and resources. Gain buy-in from key stakeholders.
- Organize cross-functional stakeholder reviews, understand customer processes, and ensure technology alignment with operational changes.
- Serve as a Scrum Master, manage resources, budgets, risks, and vendor relationships.
- Perform quality reviews, conduct impact analysis, and act as a liaison between business and IT.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent with 7+ years of IT experience.
- Experience in information technology operations and project management.
- Proficiency in MS Office.
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong communication skills with technical and non-technical staff.
- Experience in Agile methodologies, commercial insurance industry, and project management certifications.
- Analytical, problem-solving, and customer service skills.
- Consulting, influencing, and vendor management experience.
