Job Description
The New England College of Optometry is seeking a full-time Assistant or Associate Professor specializing in Cornea and Contact Lens. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to both the academic and clinical aspects of optometry education and practice at NECO.
Responsibilities
- Deliver lectures and conduct laboratory sessions in the Cornea and Contact Lens track.
- Provide primary and specialty contact lens services at NECO Center for Eye Care Commonwealth.
- Participate in the clinical training of optometry students at various levels.
- Engage in research activities and contribute to the advancement of optometric knowledge.
Requirements
- Doctor of Optometry (O.D.) degree and eligibility for a Massachusetts Optometry License with TPA certification.
- Minimum of five years of relevant experience preferred.
- Completion of an accredited optometric residency in Cornea and Contact Lens or equivalent experience.
- Passion for teaching and a commitment to optometric research.
