Job Description
Alliance Electric LLC is seeking an Assistant Electrical Engineer/Estimator to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with the Commercial Electrical Engineer/Estimator to estimate project durations, research market prices for materials, and communicate with clients to define project scopes. You will play a key role in enhancing cost-estimating procedures to ensure accurate project costing.
Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing detailed project estimates based on construction drawings and specifications.
- Manage bid communications and scopes of work.
- Coordinate document management, including receiving drawings and specifications, and distributing them accordingly.
- Analyze and compare estimates to previous projects.
- Act as a liaison between electricians, subcontractors, the design team, and clients.
- Prepare bids, proposals, and scope requisitions.
- Contribute to value analysis studies by identifying cost-efficient alternatives.
Qualifications
- Associates or Bachelor's degree with one year of related experience or equivalent.
Required Skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and basic drafting.
- Ability to interpret blueprints.
- Excellent analytical and problems-solving abilities.
Compensation
Salary: $20-$25 per hour.
