Job Description

Cedar Band Travel Plaza is looking for an Assistant Manager to oversee inventory control, staff management, and customer service operations. The Assistant Manager plays a vital role in ensuring outstanding customer service, maintaining productivity, and upholding company policies and standards.

Responsibilities

  • Manage inventory for all store products and services.
  • Coordinate and oversee daily workflow of staff members.
  • Assist in hiring and training entry-level positions.
  • Ensure exceptional customer service and address inquiries and complaints.
  • Maintain merchandise displays, housekeeping, and pricing standards.
  • Process sales transactions accurately and oversee POS register operations.
  • Prepare reports on customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback.
  • Collaborate with management to analyze inventory and product performance.
  • Address conflicts and resolve complaints effectively.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 2+ years of experience in customer service as an Assistant Manager.
  • Proficient with the G-site POS system.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • Valid Driver's License and ability to pass a background check.

Work Environment

This role operates in a fast-paced retail environment with standard store equipment. The position involves physical demands such as standing, lifting, and operating store equipment.

Compensation

Salary: $40,000 - $45,000 annually.
