Job Description
Cedar Band Travel Plaza is looking for an Assistant Manager to oversee inventory control, staff management, and customer service operations. The Assistant Manager plays a vital role in ensuring outstanding customer service, maintaining productivity, and upholding company policies and standards.
Responsibilities
- Manage inventory for all store products and services.
- Coordinate and oversee daily workflow of staff members.
- Assist in hiring and training entry-level positions.
- Ensure exceptional customer service and address inquiries and complaints.
- Maintain merchandise displays, housekeeping, and pricing standards.
- Process sales transactions accurately and oversee POS register operations.
- Prepare reports on customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback.
- Collaborate with management to analyze inventory and product performance.
- Address conflicts and resolve complaints effectively.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 2+ years of experience in customer service as an Assistant Manager.
- Proficient with the G-site POS system.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Valid Driver's License and ability to pass a background check.
Work Environment
This role operates in a fast-paced retail environment with standard store equipment. The position involves physical demands such as standing, lifting, and operating store equipment.
Compensation
Salary: $40,000 - $45,000 annually.
