Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Assistant Nurse Manager to join LifeBridge Health at the Stroke Medical Unit in Northwest Hospital, Randallstown, MD. In this role, you will lead a team in providing high-quality care to geriatric patients, focusing on stroke recovery and respiratory care. As the Assistant Nurse Manager, you will be responsible for coordinating resources to ensure exceptional service delivery in alignment with our organizational mission and values.
Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise a team of healthcare professionals, including assessing patient statuses and implementing nursing interventions.
- Develop and implement patient care plans to improve outcomes and enhance patient care.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and training requirements, especially in caring for patients on ventilators and responding to unit alarms.
- Provide 24-hour accountability for resource coordination.
Requirements
- Associate's degree in Nursing; Bachelor's in Nursing and National Certification preferred.
- 3-5 years of relevant experience.
- Maryland RN License, American Heart Association CPR Certification, BLS Certification.
