Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Assistant Nurse Manager to join our team at LifeBridge Health in Baltimore, MD. This full-time position in the Pulmonary/ID unit involves evening/night shifts with a weekend commitment. As the Assistant Nurse Manager, you will support the Unit Nurse Manager and staff to enhance patient outcomes, improve the patient experience, and ensure operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Provide 24/7 support to the Unit Nurse Manager and staff.
- Focus on improving and sustaining positive patient outcomes.
- Facilitate patient throughput and staff engagement.
- Manage operations, fiscal responsibilities, and change management.
- Maintain basic nursing skills as required.
- Assume full oversight and responsibilities in the absence of the Nurse Manager.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing; MSN, MS, MA, or MBA preferred.
- 1 year of formal nursing leadership experience.
- 1-3 years of relevant experience.
- Maryland Registered Nurse License, CPR Certification, PALS, and ACLS (if applicable).
