Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Assistant Nurse Manager to join the ICU Step Down unit at Sinai Hospital within LifeBridge Health. This full-time position involves night shifts with varying hours. As the Assistant Nurse Manager, you will work closely with the Unit Nurse Manager and staff to enhance patient outcomes, ensure a positive patient experience, manage patient throughput, engage staff, oversee operations, handle fiscal responsibilities, and drive change management. You will also be required to maintain essential nursing skills in your specialty area. In the absence of the Nurse Manager, you will assume full responsibilities for the unit or units assigned. This role entails a mix of staffing (50%) and administrative duties (50%).
Requirements
- Associate’s degree in Nursing required, Bachelor’s in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- 1 year of formal nursing leadership experience is preferred.
- 1-3 years of relevant experience required.
- Maryland Registered Nurse License, American Heart Association CPR Certification, PALS & ACLS within 6 months of hire (if applicable).
- Must be a member of a Professional Organization.
