AZ NE Production Supervisor - CNC Machining

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and dedicated NE Production Supervisor specializing in CNC Machining to join FM Industries. In this key role, you will be responsible for managing and enhancing CNC and manual machining processes, overseeing production staff, ensuring quality control, meeting customer expectations, and optimizing operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily production levels in line with forecasts and provide detailed reports to department management.
• Manage manufacturing staff to guarantee safety, quality, accuracy, efficiency, and timely delivery.
• Mentor and train machinists actively.
• Develop, implement, and assess work instructions.
• Enforce machine tool maintenance and documentation compliance.
• Support Lean Initiatives and maintain a safe, organized work environment.
• Identify production issues, troubleshoot machining problems, and focus on key metrics improvement.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for process enhancement.

Requirements

• Minimum 10 years of CNC Machining experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Proficiency in programming, setting up, and operating CNC Mills and Lathes.
• Strong leadership background overseeing machine operators and shop floor maintenance.
• Familiarity with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) and 6S principles.
• Computer literacy and experience with relevant software applications.
• Excellent communication skills and problem-solving abilities.

Compensation

Salary: $30-35 per hour
