Job Description

Sevita, a part of the D&S Community Services family, is seeking compassionate individuals to join our team as Caregivers. As a Caregiver, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Your responsibilities will include assisting with personal hygiene, supporting individuals in their daily activities, and fostering a safe and inclusive environment.

Responsibilities

• Help individuals develop important life skills and achieve their developmental goals.
• Provide support with budgeting, exercise, nutrition, and other essential tasks.
• Build meaningful relationships and create a sense of community for those you serve.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of participants at all times.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Six months of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination is preferred.
• Strong communication, adaptability, and teamwork skills.
• Valid Driver's license and access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance.
