Job Description
We are looking for a CDL Driver Class B to join our team at Orica in Macon, NC. As a CDL Driver, you will be responsible for operating plant equipment to provide blasting products and services to customers, ensuring safe and environmentally conscious practices. This role involves local driving, early morning starts, and assisting in the maintenance of equipment. Responsibilities
- Operate Mobile Mixing Unit and other equipment.
- Conduct vehicle inspections and maintenance.
- Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
- Participate in safety meetings and toolbox talks.
Requirements
- At least one year of driving and/or materials handling experience.
- Knowledge of DOT regulations and safe driving practices.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Physical capability to handle loading, pulling, and lifting tasks.
