Job Description
We are hiring a CDL Driver Class B to join Orica in Macon, NC. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving and operating the Mobile Mixing Unit, ensuring the safe transportation and delivery of blasting products to our customers. This role offers a competitive hourly pay rate of $24 and a range of benefits for full-time employees, including medical, dental, vision, and retirement plans.
Responsibilities
- Operate Mobile Mixing Unit and other plant equipment for blasting product delivery.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, including fluid level checks.
- Follow DOT regulations and ensure safe transportation of goods.
- Report incidents and participate in safety meetings.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year driving and/or materials handling experience.
- Class B CDL required, Class A a plus.
- Tanker and Hazmat endorsements preferred (support for obtaining endorsements available).
- Ability to lift heavy objects, work in various weather conditions, and prioritize tasks efficiently.
