Job Description
FIBERTEK, INC., a prominent developer of laser and electro-optic systems for the aerospace sector, is seeking a Contracts Manager to join the team in Herndon, Virginia. In this role, you will provide contract management for a portfolio of complex contracts and proposals, negotiate terms and conditions, support contract growth, ensure compliance, and mitigate risks. The ideal candidate will have 10 years of relevant experience and expertise in managing and negotiating contracts, working with regulatory frameworks, developing partnerships, and preparing proposals.
Responsibilities
- Manage highly complex contracts and proposals
- Negotiate commercial terms and conditions
- Support contract growth and new business captures
- Ensure compliance and mitigate risks
- Develop trusted partnerships with internal and external customers
- Proactively identify and resolve problems
- Prepare compliant proposals including pricing
- Collaborate cross-functionally with various teams
Requirements
- 10 years of relevant experience
- Proficiency in regulatory frameworks such as FAR, DFAR
- Strong negotiation and contract management skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team setting
- US citizenship required
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Proficient in MS Excel and MS Word
