Job Description
We are looking for a Controls Engineer III to join Dover Precision Components. As part of our team, you will be responsible for creating and modifying Sequences of Operations (SOO) for PLC and HMI applications on various panels. You will play a crucial role in testing, debugging, and providing customer service for these control panels.
Responsibilities
- Create and modify SOO for PLC and HMI applications on Allen-Bradley, Siemens, GE/Emerson, and Schneider Electric panels.
- Test and debug applications to ensure all features align with customer final approved documentation.
- Provide customer service by conducting Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and technical phone support.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or related technical training with 5+ years of experience.
- Minimum 2 years of industrial experience in maintaining and programming PLC machinery.
- Knowledge of industrial control panel wiring, reciprocating/screw compressors, VFDs, and more.
- Proficiency in Allen-Bradley, Siemens, GE/Emerson, or Schneider Electric programming software.
- Understanding of industrial standards and hazardous location requirements.
- Ability to create test procedures for control panel applications.
