Critical Infrastructure Manager I

Job Description

We are currently seeking a Critical Infrastructure Manager I to join our team at Flexential. This role involves overseeing the operation and maintenance of all electrical, mechanical, and HVAC equipment for assigned data center(s), ensuring mission-critical uptime of 99.999% or higher. The position serves as a technical resource and fosters relationships to enhance operational effectiveness and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities and Essential Job Functions

• 24x7 facility on-call duty.
• Execute data center operations for 99.999% uptime.
• Drive operational excellence and propose solutions for improvement.
• Implement company policies and procedures.
• Conduct disaster recovery exercises and facility rounds.
• Create detailed maintenance procedures and provide staff training.
• Configure equipment monitoring and alerting systems.

Required Qualifications

• Associates degree or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of critical infrastructure experience.
• Experience with root cause analysis and troubleshooting.
• Understanding of electrical and mechanical systems in data centers.
• Military or trade experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Electrical or mechanical certifications.
• 3+ years of data center experience.
• Advanced training in management and technical skills.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to sit, walk, stand, lift, and travel as needed.
• Keyboard usage for extended periods.

Base Pay Range: $81,100.00 - $91,900.00 (actual pay depends on experience and qualifications).
