Job Description

Corewell Health is looking for a dedicated CT Technologist to join our team full-time at our Troy Hospital location. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic CT exams while maintaining a patient-focused approach and adhering to radiation protection principles. Your role will involve providing essential patient care, operating CT imaging equipment, and ensuring the safety and comfort of our patients throughout the imaging process.

Responsibilities

  • Verify patient identification and physician orders.
  • Provide procedural information and education to patients and their families.
  • Acquire accurate patient history and document in medical records.
  • Perform CT scans and related procedures using appropriate techniques.
  • Administer contrast media as necessary.
  • Operate CT imaging equipment efficiently and conduct quality control tests.
  • Ensure patient safety during procedures.
  • Communicate effectively with medical staff and management.
  • Maintain a clean and organized exam room.

Qualifications

  • Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology from a JRCERT Accredited program.
  • 1-3 years of experience as a CT Technologist.
  • CRT-Radiologic Technologist and CRT-Computerized Tomography certifications required.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from AHA or ARC.

Employment Type: Full-time
Shift: Evening
Weekly Hours: 40
Hours of Work: 3pm-1130pm
Days Worked: Monday-Friday
Weekend Frequency: Every third weekend
