Job Description
We are looking for a passionate and experienced CT Technologist Lead to join Corewell Health, a leading healthcare provider. As a CT Technologist Lead, you will oversee the coordination of technical and support personnel involved in CT exams, ensuring the optimization of quality and efficiency. You will play a crucial role in maintaining departmental standards, providing clinical instruction, and demonstrating leadership in patient care.
Responsibilities
- Lead daily work schedules of staff to ensure efficient and safe patient flow.
- Assist in achieving site objectives and maintaining accreditations.
- Provide leadership, conflict resolution, and effective communication within the department.
- Train new staff, perform annual competencies, and assist in the interview process.
- Ensure equipment cleanliness, patient education, and radiation exposure minimization.
- Use hospital computer systems for order verification and information management.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Radiography program.
- 1-3 years of clinical experience preferred.
- Certification by American Registry of Radiologic Technologists with additional CT.
- Basic Life Support Certification required.
