Job Description
The Data Center Operations Technician I position at Flexential is ideal for individuals with a passion for providing exceptional customer service and possessing a strong technical acumen. You will be responsible for offering physical and Level II technical support to customers and resources, addressing issues, and following data center policies and procedures diligently. This role requires maintaining a professional demeanor while troubleshooting technical problems and facilitating installations.
Key Responsibilities
- Resolving facility and customer issues promptly.
- Following data center protocols and processes accurately.
- Escorting vendors and performing remote hands work.
- Maintaining data center cleanliness and conducting facilities rounds.
- Supporting 24/7 operations and assisting with critical infrastructure tasks.
Required Qualifications
- Passion for customer service and problem-solving.
- Proficiency in Windows and Microsoft operating systems.
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
- Self-motivated with the ability to meet deadlines.
- Preferably 1 year of IT support experience.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to work at heights and in cold environments.
- Capability to lift heavy objects and install cabling.
Hourly Pay Range
- The hourly pay range for this role is estimated to be between $20.30 and $23.81, with variations based on experience and location.
