Data Center Operations Technician 1

Job Description

We are looking for a Data Center Operations Technician 1 to join Flexential, a market-based position that provides physical and Level II technical support to customers and resources. The role involves troubleshooting technical issues, maintaining facilities infrastructure, and ensuring professional representation of Flexential during interactions.

Key Responsibilities and Essential Job Functions

• Provide timely resolution and/or escalation of Facility and customer issues.
• Troubleshoot and document technical issues using the ticketing system.
• Follow Flexential Support and Data Center policies, processes, and procedures.
• Assist with physical and logical installations of services.
• Maintain cleanliness of the Data Center and supporting areas.
• Operate and manage Badge Access Security System.
• Perform other duties as required and assigned.

Required Qualifications

• Passion for providing a great customer experience.
• Understanding of Windows and Microsoft Operating systems.
• Strong attention to detail and meeting deadlines.
• Prefer 1 year of experience working within an IT Support environment.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to climb ladders and work aloft.
• Ability to work in cold temperature environments.
• Ability to maneuver pallet jacks and lift heavy objects.

Hourly Pay Range

Hourly pay range for this position is estimated to be ($19.33 - $29.00). Actual pay range depends on candidate's experience, location, and qualifications.
