Job Description
The Data Center Operations Technician I position at Flexential is a critical role responsible for providing technical support to customers and resources in a 24x7x365 environment. This role requires a strong understanding of facilities infrastructure, Windows OS, and troubleshooting skills. The ideal candidate will represent Flexential professionally, handle technical issues effectively, and ensure adherence to policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Resolve facility and customer issues promptly.
- Maintain professionalism during data center operations.
- Troubleshoot and document technical issues accurately.
- Follow company policies and processes.
- Assist with installations and facilities maintenance.
- Manage badge access security system.
- Collaborate with teams to ensure inventory levels are maintained.
Required Qualifications
- Prior experience in an IT support environment preferred.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
- Certifications like Network+, Security+, CCNA, or Microsoft MCP/MCSA a plus.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to work at heights and in cold temperatures.
- Capability to lift heavy objects and install cabling.
- Experience with pallet jacks.
Hourly Pay Range
The estimated hourly pay range for this role is $19.33 - $22.67, depending on experience and qualifications.
