Data Center Operations Technician I

Job Description

The Data Center Operations Technician I position at Flexential is a critical role responsible for providing physical and Level II technical support to customers. This 24x7x365 position requires expertise in Facilities infrastructure, Windows operating systems, and PC troubleshooting, along with excellent customer communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Timely resolution and escalation of Facility and customer issues.
• Adherence to Flexential Support and Data Center policies.
• Facilitate physical and logical installations of services.
• Maintain cleanliness and security of the Data Center.
• Perform Facilities Rounds and manage shipping/receiving.

Required Qualifications

• Passion for customer service.
• Knowledge of Windows and Microsoft Operating systems.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and deadlines.
• 1 year of experience in IT Support desired.

Preferred Qualifications

• Physical agility for climbing and lifting.
• Experience with cabling installations.
• Industry certifications such as Network+, Security+, CCNA, MCP, or MCSA preferred.

Salary

Hiring Range: $18.41 - $20.00 per hour.
