Data Center Operations Technician I

Job Description

We are looking for a Data Center Operations Technician I to join our team at Flexential. This position involves providing physical and technical support to customers and resources, troubleshooting technical issues, and maintaining a professional demeanor. The role requires flexibility to support 24/7 operations and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Resolve Facility and customer issues promptly.
• Follow data center policies and procedures.
• Provide local access and escort for vendors.
• Perform installations and maintenance of Flexential services.
• Maintain cleanliness and security of the Data Center.

Required Qualifications

• Passion for excellent customer service.
• Knowledge of Windows and Microsoft Operating systems.
• Strong communication and attention to detail skills.
• Experience in IT support environment preferred.
• Relevant certifications such as Network +, Security +, CCNA, MCP, or MCSA desirable.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to work at heights and in cold environments.
• Capability to lift heavy objects and install cabling.
