Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Deputy Sheriff - Patrol to join our team at Clear Creek County, Colorado. In this role, you will be responsible for enforcing laws, responding to emergencies, conducting investigations, and maintaining public safety. As a Deputy Sheriff, you will play a crucial role in protecting the community and upholding the law.
Responsibilities
- Enforce County, State, and Federal laws.
- Conduct investigations, make arrests, and write reports.
- Appear and testify in court proceedings.
- Perform traffic enforcement and routine patrols.
- Operate specialized law enforcement equipment.
- Provide assistance in various non-law enforcement matters.
- Conduct specialized functions like DUI investigations, crime scene processing, and more.
- Work collaboratively with other agencies to maintain law and order.
Requirements
- Minimum two (2) years of law enforcement experience.
- High school graduate or GED equivalent.
- Colorado POST Certification required.
- Proficiency in various law enforcement techniques and equipment.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to make sound judgments under pressure.
- Physically fit to perform law enforcement duties.
