Job Description
The Bungalows at Nevada is looking for dedicated Dietary Aides to join their team. As a Dietary Aide, you will be responsible for preparing and serving meals to residents and guests, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations and maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
Shift Details
- Dietary Aide
- Mon-Fri; every other weekend required
Responsibilities
- Follow all local, state, and federal policies for food handling.
- Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and health standards.
- Prepare special dietary needs as directed.
- Adhere to posted menus and prepare food items according to standardized recipes.
Requirements
- Education/Experience/Licensure-Certification
- High School Diploma/GED required.
- Previous experience in dining/hospitality or full-service senior living preferred.
- Skills and Abilities
- Understanding of infection control procedures.
- Ability to multitask and manage stress.
- Competency in time management and organizational skills.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings.
