Dining Services Executive Chef

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Dining Services Executive Chef to join our team at Charter Senior Living of Northpark Place. As the Dining Service Director/Executive Chef, you will be responsible for maintaining high standards of quality, customer service, and productivity within the Dining Services Department. Your role will involve creating menus, managing kitchen operations, supervising staff, and ensuring residents' dining preferences are met.

Responsibilities

• Plan, promote, and supervise a food service program exceeding quality standards.
• Monitor and address resident preferences and needs.
• Establish kitchen and dining room sanitation procedures.
• Order food, supplies, and equipment while managing budgets.
• Recruit, hire, train, and supervise staff.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and infection control practices.

Requirements

• Serve Safe Certification if required by state regulations.
• Experience or willingness to work with elderly population.
• Proficiency in English and ability to follow instructions.
• Ability to lift at least 50 pounds and perform physical tasks.
• Background check required.
