Title: Direct Support Professional/ Caregiver

We have a variety of schedules and overnights available! Would you like to make a difference every day in someone’s life? Working in community settings, closely with clinical staff, you will support therapeutic and behavioral plans, providing assistance and strategies for individuals to live independently.

Responsibilities

• Transportation and support in the community: outings/field trips, medical appointments, and shopping.
• Assist with daily living skills, including meal preparation and medication administration.
• Provide guidance on developmental goals, such as community participation, household budgeting, exercise, nutrition, and vocational responsibilities.
• Support persons served with living skills like personal hygiene, grooming, and bathing.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma, GED, or 5 years documented caregiver experience.
• Minimum 18 years of age.
• 6 months of human services experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license, registered vehicle, proof of insurance.
• Successful background checks clearance.
• Reliable, responsible attitude.
• Compassionate approach and commitment to quality.
