Job Purpose

As a Dispatcher at RICH TRANSPORT LLC, you will be responsible for handling dispatch calls, managing driver boards, ensuring timely delivery of loads, and maintaining communication with various departments. Your role will involve entering critical information, monitoring driver activities, and assisting in load planning to ensure efficient operations.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Enter essential information such as Bill of Lading, ETAs, and Trailer numbers daily.
• Communicate delays to relevant departments and provide support to driver managers.
• Maintain accurate records of company truck mileage and driver schedules.
• Conduct regular check calls with drivers to track progress and address any issues promptly.
• Collaborate with Load Planners/Coordinators and complete necessary reports as requested.
• Ensure compliance with driving hours regulations and maintain a professional appearance at all times.
• Promote a positive work environment and uphold a high standard of customer service.

Requirements

• Ability to work under pressure and communicate effectively with internal stakeholders.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Experience with McLeod database and Manifest building is preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently.
