Job Description
We are looking for a Donation Attendant to join our team at the Thurmont Store in Thurmont, Maryland. As part of Goodwill Monocacy Valley, you will play a crucial role in creating a positive customer experience, handling donations, and supporting our mission to promote sales and brand awareness.
Starting Pay: $15.00 / Hour
Responsibilities
- Accept donations from customers with exceptional customer service.
- Label donations accurately and provide receipts to donors.
- Assist customers with loading and unloading items.
- Maintain organization in the production room following set standards.
- Operate equipment such as pallet jacks and walkie stackers safely.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Model Goodwill core values of Trust, Collaboration, Engagement, Ownership, and Innovation.
Requirements
- Strong customer service skills.
- Ability to obtain a forklift certification.
- Proficiency in English language.
- Minimum age of 18 years.
