EMERGENCY PSYCH EVALUATOR (SOCIAL WORKER) - SINAI HOSPITAL

Job Description

We are looking for an Emergency Psych Evaluator (Social Worker) to join our team at Sinai Hospital under LifeBridge Health. This full-time position with a weekend commitment involves conducting comprehensive Behavioral Health assessments, evaluations, and care recommendations for patients, primarily in the Emergency Department.

Responsibilities

• Provide Behavioral Health assessment and crisis intervention for psychiatric patients in the Emergency Department.
• Collaborate with ED attending provider and psychiatrist to suggest the next level of care for patients.
• Recommend and document psychiatric disposition plans for patients in the ED.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and colleagues about the care plan.

Requirements

• Master's Degree in Social Work or Clinical Counseling.
• 1-3 years of prior Social Work or Counseling experience.
• LCSW-C or LCPC licensure is mandatory.
