Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Engineering Manager to join our team at Pro2Serve in Oak Ridge, TN. As the Engineering Manager, you will work closely with the Director of Engineering to oversee the operational aspects of the Engineering Division, manage project budgets and resources, ensure compliance with engineering processes, and lead staff development initiatives. Responsibilities

  • Direct the Engineering discipline staff to meet client needs.
  • Establish project budgets, resource levels, and communicate requirements.
  • Review and approve engineering project deliverables for compliance.
  • Identify and hire new employees in collaboration with the Director of Engineering.
  • Develop staff performance reviews, training plans, and staffing allocation plans.
  • Implement and update engineering aspects of Quality Assurance Programs.
  • Collaborate with department managers to enhance customer support quality.
  • Lead conferences with clients to establish project objectives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Civil, Electrical, Mechanical) or Architecture.
  • 10+ years of engineering experience and 5+ years of Supervisory/Project Management experience.
  • Professional Engineer Registration required.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.
  • Experience in proposal development and interpreting engineering documents.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Desired Experience

Previous work with DOE or DOD projects, PMP certification, USACE projects.
