Job Description
The Field Solutions Engineer II at Flexential plays a critical role in providing pre-sales technical expertise in the areas of Hybrid/Cloud and Managed Services to support new logo CMS Deal Pursuit. The candidate will be responsible for architecting complete solutions for customers, encompassing a range of technologies such as web, application, database, virtualization, internet, networking, and storage. In addition to supporting retail colocation opportunities, the Field Solutions Engineer II will collaborate with the National Sales Team to design and present complex solutions tailored to meet customer requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop Regional Partner relationships and deliver technical presentations.
- Architect Cloud and Managed Services solutions for new logo customers.
- Stay current on product offerings and industry trends.
- Design and document comprehensive CMS/Hybrid solution designs.
- Engage in consultative customer interactions to understand business drivers and formulate solutions.
- Create accurate documentation for successful opportunity closures.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in IT or related field preferred.
- 6-9 years of industry-relevant experience in sales engineering.
- Proven ability to design and communicate solutions to diverse audiences.
Preferred Qualifications
- Technical expertise and success in managed IT services.
- Solid understanding of cloud-based web applications and infrastructure architecture.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Strong knowledge of data center infrastructure and cloud platforms.
