As a Fitter, you will be responsible for performing fitting operations, including grinding and repairs, to meet high production demands and uphold quality standards. Principle Duties & Responsibilities
- Build iconic bridge projects with proper safety measures.
- Work alongside skilled steel fitters.
- Drill, install bolts, grind steel components, and produce welds.
- Maintain a clean work area and participate in improvement activities.
- Read and interpret blueprints.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
- High School diploma or GED.
- Ability to read, write, and comprehend English.
- Flexibility to work in various circumstances and with diverse groups.
- Adaptability to changing priorities and work effectively in a team.
Physical Requirements
- Able to lift and carry weight, push/move objects, and have agility in movements.
- Must stand, walk, stoop, and kneel as needed.
- Agile fingers and thumbs.
Working Conditions
- Indoor and outdoor work with exposure to various conditions.
- Use of safety gear like glasses, hearing protection, hard hats, and boots.
Compensation Details: Starting at $18.00 per hour.
