Food Service Aide-SPR

Job Description

We are looking for a Food Service Aide-SPR to join our team at Career Systems Development Corporation. As a Food Service Aide, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness in kitchen and dining areas, assisting in food preparation and serving, and promoting a customer service-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Establish positive working relationships with co-workers.
• Adhere to all relevant policies and procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness of equipment and work areas.
• Assist in food preparation and serving.
• Clean and maintain dining and kitchen facilities.
• Operate dish-washing equipment and service equipment.
• Restock dispensers and move/store supplies.
• Ensure compliance with safety guidelines.
• Participate in required training sessions.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Ability to read and write in English.

Preferred:

• Certificate from a culinary/food service training program.
• Three months of food service experience.
• Serve Safe certification.

Knowledge:

• Personal cleanliness and hygiene.
• State or local food handling requirements.
• CPR/First Aid certificates.

Physical Requirements

Frequently: Standing, walking, seeing, hearing, speaking, driving.

Occasionally: Sitting, bending, stooping, squatting, flexibility.

Seldom: Climbing, lifting 50 pounds, carrying, kneeling, pushing/pulling, running.

Environmental Demands

Ability to operate office equipment.

Occasionally works alone.

Ability to read and write at a college level.
