Job Description

We are looking for a Front Desk Agent to join our team at The Landing at Hampton Marina, Tapestry by Hilton. As a Front Desk Agent, you will play a vital role in ensuring all revenue is posted correctly, balancing revenue departments daily, and completing necessary reports.

Essential Job Functions

  • Perform audit procedures daily as outlined by the Hotel and company.
  • Generate required audit reports.
  • Verify and handle wake-up call requests.
  • Balance cash receipts and work completed during the audit shift.
  • Prepare the front office for the 'A' shift and the following day's business.
  • Act as a Guest Service representative and manager on duty during night hours.
  • Participate in front office meetings and training programs.
  • Act as PBX operator during the audit shift.
  • Greet guests warmly and proactively.
  • Comply with all company policies and procedures related to the position.

Physical Requirements

The employee must be able to stand for long hours, use hands for various tasks, bend, reach, and occasionally lift/move objects. Specific vision abilities are necessary, and proficiency in English is required.

Mental Requirements

  • Clear communication in English, both orally and in writing.
  • Ability to evaluate and select alternative courses of action quickly and accurately.
  • Effectively handle high-pressure situations, guest complaints, and problem-solving.
  • Assimilate complex information and work with financial data.
