Job Description
We are seeking Full and Part Time Deckhands to join our team at Hornblower. As a Deckhand, you will serve as a crew member on large-capacity passenger vessels, providing exceptional hospitality to guests and ensuring their safety.
Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional hospitality following the RESPECT SERVICE SYSTEM.
- Ensure passenger and vessel safety by following safety procedures and participating in training drills.
- Maintain cleanliness and safety of common areas onboard.
- Assist in maintaining vessel equipment and systems.
- Perform security/safety patrols, assist with passenger boarding, and respond to passenger needs.
- Adhere to maritime regulations and company policies.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Strong communication skills and service orientation.
- Energetic and enthusiastic personality.
- Ability to work without sitting for extended periods.
- Physically capable of lifting 50 pounds and performing deckhand duties.
- Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
- US Citizen or Permanent Resident per maritime law.
- First Aid and CPR/AED Certification a plus.
