Job Description
Hornblower is looking for Full and Part Time Deckhands for their South Shore operation in Hingham, MA. As a Deckhand, you will provide exceptional hospitality to guests and coworkers while ensuring the safety and cleanliness of the vessel.
Responsibilities
- Provide exemplary customer service according to the RESPECT SERVICE SYSTEM.
- Enforce safety procedures to protect passengers and the vessel.
- Participate in training and safety drills.
- Maintain cleanliness and safety of common areas.
- Assist in maintaining vessel equipment and systems.
- Handle mooring lines and assist in boarding and disembarking passengers.
- Be prepared for work on time and perform security patrols while underway.
- Additional duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Service-oriented with a positive attitude.
- Ability to work without sitting for extended periods.
- Physical capability to lift heavy objects and throw mooring lines.
- Availability for nights, weekends, and holidays.
- US Citizen or Permanent Resident per maritime law.
- CPR/AED Certification a plus.
