Hospice Registered Nurse

Responsibilities

• Apply nursing theories and concepts in patient care.
• Document care in compliance with reimbursement guidelines.
• Coordinate patient care with the Hospice team, family, and physicians.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and agency personnel.
• Participate in IDT meetings and quality reviews as scheduled.

Requirements

• Current RN licensure with clinical nursing experience.
• Preferably a minimum of one year of hospice nursing experience.
• Knowledge of home health and hospice care programs.
• Familiarity with nursing principles, policies, and reimbursement guidelines.
• CPR certification and willingness for travel and on-call assignments.
