Job Description
Shamin Hotels Corporate is looking for an experienced Human Resource Business Partner to join our team. As a key member of the organization, you will collaborate with operational leaders to enhance the overall people function within our company. Responsibilities
- Be a role model for coaching, training, and leadership.
- Develop career advancement opportunities for employees at all levels.
- Enhance onboarding initiatives and guide teams in HRIS software.
- Conduct new hire orientations and support performance management strategies.
- Drive diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts.
- Update job descriptions and draft new HR policies.
- Stay informed about HR trends in the hospitality industry.
- Ensure compliance with laws and regulations through training sessions.
Required Skills/Abilities
- Excellent communication skills in English, proficiency in Spanish is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal, counseling, negotiation abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Expert knowledge of Equal Employment Opportunity requirements.
- Proficient in data-driven decision-making.
- Knowledge of applicable laws, regulations, and HR policies.
- Experience with Dominion Payroll services is advantageous.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management or related field.
- Proficiency in Spanish, minimum of five years of HRBP experience.
- Minimum of three years of experience in the hospitality industry.
- SHRM-SCP or SHRM-CP credential preferred.
