Job Description

Shamin Hotels Corporate is looking for an experienced Human Resource Business Partner to join our team. As a key member of the organization, you will collaborate with operational leaders to enhance the overall people function within our company. Responsibilities

  • Be a role model for coaching, training, and leadership.
  • Develop career advancement opportunities for employees at all levels.
  • Enhance onboarding initiatives and guide teams in HRIS software.
  • Conduct new hire orientations and support performance management strategies.
  • Drive diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts.
  • Update job descriptions and draft new HR policies.
  • Stay informed about HR trends in the hospitality industry.
  • Ensure compliance with laws and regulations through training sessions.

Required Skills/Abilities

  • Excellent communication skills in English, proficiency in Spanish is a plus.
  • Strong interpersonal, counseling, negotiation abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Expert knowledge of Equal Employment Opportunity requirements.
  • Proficient in data-driven decision-making.
  • Knowledge of applicable laws, regulations, and HR policies.
  • Experience with Dominion Payroll services is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management or related field.
  • Proficiency in Spanish, minimum of five years of HRBP experience.
  • Minimum of three years of experience in the hospitality industry.
  • SHRM-SCP or SHRM-CP credential preferred.
