Job Description
We are looking for a skilled HVAC Install Technician to join our team at Preferred Home Services, LLC in Charleston, SC. As part of our company, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. This role requires expertise in reading blueprints, handling HVAC equipment, and ensuring compliance with industry standards to deliver exceptional service to our clients.
Responsibilities
- Install new HVAC systems according to specifications and blueprints.
- Conduct inspections to determine installation methods and perform load calculations.
- Connect electrical wiring and HVAC components, test systems, and troubleshoot malfunctions.
- Collaborate with clients on system operation, maintenance, and energy-saving practices.
- Stay informed about industry advancements and best practices.
Requirements
- EPA Type II Certification preferred.
- Proven experience as an HVAC Install Technician with a strong understanding of HVAC systems.
- Proficiency in reading blueprints, handling HVAC tools, and effective communication skills.
- Physical ability to perform job duties, including lifting heavy equipment and working in confined spaces.
