Job Description
We are seeking an experienced HVAC Equipment Mechanic to join our team at SJS Executives LLC, supporting facilities operations at Naval Base Ventura County. The ideal candidate will have the necessary skills to disassemble, repair, and reassemble HVAC units, such as pumps, compressors, chillers, and motors. As an HVAC Mechanic, you will apply your knowledge of air conditioning and refrigeration principles to ensure efficient system operation.
Responsibilities
- Perform installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of commercial and industrial air conditioning and refrigeration systems.
- Ensure compliance with environmental laws related to refrigerant handling.
- Collaborate with a team to maintain system efficiency and safety.
- Read blueprints, specifications, and technical instructions for system evaluations and repairs.
Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience as an HVAC Mechanic in commercial or industrial settings.
- Universal Certification from an EPA-approved program.
- Valid State Driver's License.
- CPR certification, OSHA 10, and willingness to undergo background checks.
