IMS Port Technician - Edgerton, KS

Job Description

We are looking for an IMS Port Technician to join our team at Konecranes Nuclear Equipment and Services LLC in Edgerton, KS. As a Technician, you will be responsible for performing inspections, maintenance, and repairs on electric overhead traveling cranes and hoists at customer locations. You will troubleshoot equipment malfunctions, document findings, and make corrective recommendations to ensure customer satisfaction. Additionally, you will contribute to sales leads, maintain company assets, and adhere to safety procedures and regulations.

Principal Responsibilities

• Perform inspections, maintenance, and repairs on electric overhead traveling cranes and hoists.
• Conduct on-site troubleshooting to determine equipment malfunctions and establish necessary repairs.
• Document findings, make corrective recommendations, and consult with customers on repair and safety issues.
• Produce sales leads, complete service reports, and maintain company equipment.
• Follow safety rules and procedures, including those established by the customer.

Requirements

• Associate degree in Industrial Electrical and/or Mechanical Technology or equivalent training and experience.
• Minimum one year of experience in electrical troubleshooting and mechanical repair.
• Good driving record and willingness to work at heights and travel out of town as needed.
• Ability to lift and operate tools, equipment, and vehicles safely.

Salary

$18 - $55 an hour. Pay is determined based on skills, experience, and other factors.
