Job Description
We are currently looking for Inpatient Pharmacists to join our team at various locations within Norton Healthcare. As a Pharmacist, you will dispense, compound, label, store, and ensure the proper use of pharmaceutical preparations, contributing to the efficient operation of the department and advancing the goals of Norton Healthcare. You will also use pharmaceutical care principles to ensure optimal therapeutic outcomes for patients, provide pharmacy-related education, and exercise leadership in all matters related to the medication use process for patients of all ages.
Responsibilities
- Dispense and compound pharmaceuticals.
- Direct Pharmacy Technicians and advance department goals.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers and manage medication use processes.
- Support performance improvement initiatives and ensure budget targets are met.
Qualifications
- Required: Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy, KY Pharmacist license.
- Desired: Doctorate Degree in Pharmacy, Board Certified Pharmacotherapy Specialist.
Location
We are hiring at various locations, including Norton Women's and Children's, Norton Audubon, and Norton Hospital. Inpatient experience or completion of a PGY-1 is preferred.
