Job Description
We are currently looking for a dedicated Interventional Radiology Tech to join our team at Corewell Health. As an Interventional Radiology Tech, you will play a crucial role in providing health care services using advanced imaging technology to aid in diagnoses and interventional procedures. Your responsibilities will include performing radiographic procedures, assisting interventional physicians with sterile techniques, preparing necessary supplies for procedures, ensuring patient care, and maintaining accurate patient records. You will work closely with licensed practitioners in a supportive and engaging environment.
Essential Functions
- Follow established protocols and work under supervision to resolve routine problems.
- Document all care and maintain a clean work environment.
- Build positive relationships with physicians and administer contrast agents accurately.
- Participate in process improvement activities for patient and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Associate's Degree or equivalent experience; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
- CRT-Radiographer (R) and CRT-Vascular Interventional Radiography (VI) certifications required.
- Basic Life Support certification (BLS) from AHA or ARC required within 90 days.
