Junior ERP Developer

Job Description

We are looking for a motivated Junior ERP Developer to join our team at HORST ENGINEERING & MANUFACTURING CO. As a key member, you will be responsible for maintaining data integrity and optimizing our Epicor ERP system. Your role will involve analyzing business processes and providing valuable metrics to stakeholders, focusing on data optimization rather than hardware management.

Major Areas of Responsibility

• Implement reports, dashboards, and processes to enhance user experience and deliver metrics to stakeholders.
• Develop or customize macros for data collection and validation as part of workflow automation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve system issues, enhancements, and upgrades.
• Perform routine system audits and enforce data integrity checks.
• Create and execute data migration plans for seamless and accurate transitions between systems.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and propose innovative solutions for business enhancement.
• Provide user training and support to ensure effective system utilization.
• Adjust configurations, setups, and user access controls based on specific role requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Information Technology.
• 2-5 years of experience in small to mid-sized companies, with manufacturing exposure being a plus.
• Prior hands-on experience with an ERP system, preferably Epicor, in a manufacturing setting.
• Proficiency in C#, SQL, JSON, ABL, APIv2, and direct Epicor coding (DMT/BAQ/SSRS/BPMs knowledge advantageous).
• Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues effectively.
