Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity for a Lead Patient Care Assistant (PCA) at Maryhaven, Central Ohio’s premier behavioral services provider specializing in addiction recovery. As the Lead PCA, you will be responsible for maintaining the therapeutic environment and safety of the Maryhaven Addiction Stabilization Center (MASC) on South High Street in Columbus, Ohio. Your role will involve facilitating and maintaining the unit, implementing program rules, training new PCAs, assisting with the admission process, and educating residents on hygiene and safety practices. Additionally, you will monitor both residents and the facility to ensure a secure and supportive environment.

Lead Patient Care Assistant Requirements

  • Associate degree in a related field preferred, high school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Training and certification in law enforcement, correctional, or security environments preferred.
  • Minimum three years' experience in a related field preferred.
  • CDCA or equivalent preferred.
